About The Event

Hi Friends of Wounded Veterans Project,

Every year on Veterans Day, since 2017, Veterans, their families, friends, loved ones and perfect strangers meet up (motorcycles or vehicles) at 11:45 (we roll out at 12:15). 30- minute window to meet and leave. We then ride, lead by a Combat Veteran & board member of Wounded Veterans Project, to the Agawam, MA Memorial Cemetery.

We ride right to a specific area near a flag (in the back), stand at attention to our American Flag and we play The National Anthem. Then Scott Haber (of The Savage Brothers) plays Taps for us on this Trumpet.

This started 5 years ago when the whole KNEELING thing was going on in the NFL. Now it has just has become something we feel great about doing. Since the beginning of this started, we have become a 501c3 called, Wounded Veterans Project Inc. A nonprofit dedicated to helping Veterans!!!! This has always been a small gathering but a meaningful one. Last year we decided to move it from Veterans day to the following Saturday so that more people might be able to make it. And more people did come. Great turnout!

Put American Flags on your bike/vehicle.

After we leave the cemetery, we will all go and grab some lunch (TBD) to spend some time to celebrate such a meaningful and important day, Veteran's Day.

Everyone/anyone is welcome!

Please feel free to come to show your love and support to Veterans that are with us AND that have passed. We will be riding right down RTE. 159 in case you want to be on the street to wave an American Flag at our Vets!

This day is brought to you by Wounded Veterans Project. It is FREE to ANYONE (FYI....we aren't picking up lunch tab, sorry, lol!) but we sure would appreciate a donation. 100% of your donation will go to Helping Us, Help Vets!

This fundraiser is and always has been brought to you by Wounded Veterans Project Inc. www.woundedveteransproject.com

Sincerely, Jeannie Miller and the WVP Team!
